The projects may concern an urban area, a city or just a ward.

The decision-making process usually associates the inhabitants and the institutional partners of the agency, to which it brings all along its know-how.

Presently, numerous projects look for example

• to improve the urban mobility (public transportation, bikes and pedestrians)
• or the urban environment (parks).

But they may also carry on some new processes in order to

• "remake the city over itself" (reconverting former industrial areas & army blocks in downtown, re-connecting public housing areas of the 60's with the surrounding areas, etc.)
• or to develop some restructuring projects mixing activities, housing and amenities in the aim of strengthening the attractivity of the city.
