A wide part of the production of the urban agencies is made of surveys, studies, preliminary files, pre-operational proposals, etc., most of them being published :
  • periodicals,
  • press release,
  • newsletters,
  • synthesis,
  • exhibitions..
These actions aim at informing the public about
  • the policy and projects driven by the local community,
  • and sometimes also at playing a part into a debate among professionals.

They participate into the creation of a common urban background,
  • and make easier the dialogue about the urban topics within the urban area
  • Such a communication policy includes also the involvement of the agencies into public enquiries and hearings.
