A wide part of the production of the urban agencies is made of surveys, studies, preliminary files, pre-operational proposals, etc., most of them being published :
- periodicals,
- press release,
- newsletters,
- synthesis,
- exhibitions..
These actions aim at informing the public about
- the policy and projects driven by the local community,
- and sometimes also at playing a part into a debate among professionals.
They participate into the creation of a common urban background,
- and make easier the dialogue about the urban topics within the urban area
- Such a communication policy includes also the involvement of the agencies into public enquiries and hearings.
