About FNAU » The Annual Meeting |

The French urban agencies’ ambition is to turn themselves into prominent tools of territorial engineering for a sustainable city.
This meeting should thus enhance their expertise, know-how and good practices aiming to translate the sustainable development values into the reality of their territories.
Numerous inter-active workshops are in preparation: integrated processes for urban planning and sustainable mobility, community participation, territorial governance at its different scales, eco-cities & districts, urban projects…with reference to the European and more widely International framework.

The 30th annual meeting of FNAU "Europe, le Génie des Villes" has been the 8th Biennal of European Towns and Town Planners
The Biennal has deal with 3 questions :
- Is there really a "European City" model ?
- How European Cities react to big today's economic, social, climate and demographic stakes ?
- What strengths can European Cities draw on with a view to developmental leverage.
It was organized by FNAU in cooperation with the Permanent International Working Party (PIWP) with the support of the ECTP.
